The laboratory organizes training courses in its fields of specialization. The doctoral school offers training courses (essentially scientific) which must relate to PhD students from several laboratories; the Doctoral College offers transversal and professional training courses which are intended for all UGA PhD students, and sometimes all Humanities PhD students (including training in research ethics, which is mandatory).
However, a PhD student will never find all the necessary training courses in this offering for his/her career plan and scientific project. It is therefore possible to follow "non-catalog" courses. The list of activity types recognized as valid for Training Hours ("HF") is available on the doctoral school website, here. You can play an important role in this aspect.
