The PhD training program covers the entire duration of the thesis, whether the PhD is specifically funded or not. These training courses allow students to obtain a certain number of "training hours" (HF), with a minimum of 120 HF required in order to submit a thesis.



These training courses are divided into three main fields (which sometimes overlap): scientific, transversal and professional insertion. The three fields must be equally represented.
(3 x 40 HF).

NB : A research ethics course is mandatory. It is managed by the UGA Doctoral College. It can be accessed remotely, in the form of a MOOC. We advise you to attend it from the first year of your thesis.
